Cobra Beer revisits successful train ad campaign

Cobra Beer is relaunching its Cobra Train advertising campaign, which it claims is the most successful in the brand’s history.

Last year, the A fresh take on authentic India ad helped secure double-digit on-trade sales growth for Cobra.

The latest campaign, which kicks-off on 5 April, will see a 20-second version of the advert air on TV, featuring a new finale, and will be supported by point-of-sale materials for Cobra customers.

Alongside the ad campaign, Cobra completed its brand redesign in 2012 and provided support to help on-trade outlets bring Cobra’s Indian heritage to life.

Lord Karan Bilimoria, founder and chairman of Cobra Beer, said: “The creative was hugely successful last year, presenting the Cobra brand as a premium reflection of modern India. To make Cobra a top 10 beer brand in the UK, it is vital that we capitalise on our success by keeping Cobra front of mind for consumers.”
