Baffito's wins Sky Ultimate Venue competition

Baffito’s Bar & Pizzeria beat big city names to lift the standout venue title for the North West, West Midlands and North Wales region.

The establishment, which boasts a 108 inch HD screen, hosts regular sporting events, runs food promotions such as half time pizza and wedges and holds evenings such as band nights, a poker league and family events.

Sky commended the venue for its friendly atmosphere and ability to offer something for everyone.

Bar director Peter Thompson described winning the award as a ‘proud moment’.

“We are delighted to have been chosen as the Ultimate Venue for our region,” he said. “To have a bar in Warrington beating all the big city venues to an award like this is fantastic.”

Baffito’s joins Cheers Café Bar & Tavern, Fraserburgh and The Westleigh Hotel, in Bradford which were respectively named winners in the Scotland and North England, and North East and East Midlands categories.

The competition was run by PreviewLIVE​ - a Sky website dedicated to helping Sky commercial subscribers promote sport to drive footfall to their venues.
