Licensing law firm Poppleston Allen has launched a free service reminding pubs to apply for temporary event notices (TENs) ahead of sporting events and national days of celebration.

Subscribers to the Poppleston Allen TEN Alerter service will be reminded, by text and/or email, to issue TENs ahead of the respective deadlines. Alerts will be sent for a variety of occasions including Halloween, St Patrick’s Day, Valentine’s Day, major sporting events and bank holidays.

Poppleston Allen managing partner Jonathan Smith said: “At a time when we’re bombarded with information, we believe that this cuts through all the noise and delivers an essential service to licensees, to help protect and grow their businesses.”

Publicans can register by mobile or email at www.popall.co.uk/event-calendar. Poppleston Allen will then send an SMS message and/or email alerting you in plenty of time.
