"No plans" for new Strongbow flavour in the on-trade
Strongbow Dark Fruit is a premixed twist on the pub favourite cider & black, containing both blackcurrant and blackberry juice.
The brewer said it was designed to draw in more fans of standard cider to the flavoured cider category.
“We currently have no plans to launch Strongbow Dark Fruit into the on-trade but we will monitor consumer interest and keep the opportunity under review,” confirmed spokesman David Jones.
It follows the introduction of Strongbow Pear almost a year ago, which was launched into the on- and off-trade at the same time.
