Frizzenti’s Prosecco-focused push
Prosecco is the world’s fastest growing sparkling wine, with sales in the UK nearly doubling over the past year, according to Frizzenti managing director George Workman.
“Consumers are actively seeking out this iconic Italian sparkling wine, so to satisfy demand licensees should ensure they provide a by-the-glass solution in addition to selling it by the bottle,” he said.
“Pubs and bars are naturally concerned about opened wine bottles losing their sparkle and the potential wastage, but serving it direct from the keg eliminates that risk.”
Frizzenti is a “young and light sparkling” white and rosé wine from Italy at 10.5% ABV and is sold in 20 litre kegs.
