Heineken UK backs PMA cider summit

The Cider Trends Summit takes place in Bristol on 14 October

Heineken UK has given its support to the Publican’s Morning Advertiser’s Cider Trends Summit and signed up to become headline partner.

Heineken is the world’s largest cider maker and produces Strongbow, the UK’s number-one cider brand, premium packaged brand Bulmers, as well as Symonds Founder’s Reserve, Woodpecker and Jacques.

Sarah Maddock, UK head of innovation at Heineken, will be speaking at the summit on the topic of category innovation and the drivers of growth that have seen cider become a star performer in the UK alcoholic drinks market.

She joins a stellar list of summit speakers that includes Paul Bartlett, chair of the National Association of Cider Makers, Henry Chevallier Guild, partner at Aspall, Gordon Johncox, managing director at Aston Manor, and Pete Brown, co-author of the new book World’s Best Cider.

The one-day event will cover some of the key issues affecting the cider industry and delegates will also benefit from networking opportunities throughout the day. The Cider Trends Summit takes place in Bristol on Monday 14 October.
