Fuller’s has announced the return of its Red Fox ale to the on-trade this month, one of its most popular seasonal ales.

The autumnal favourite is a 4.3% ABV ale, brewed with malted golden toasted oats. It will be available in the majority of Fuller’s pubs and selected free trade outlets from this week.

Fuller’s head of marketing, Wade Crouch, said: "Red Fox offers our consumers a warming alternative to their usual, and consistently stands out as one of the favourites among our great seasonal ale range. Last year, it sold 34% ahead of previous year, and we’re expecting similar results again this autumn.

"Customers are increasingly looking for variety and to experiment with flavours, and Red Fox continues to appeal year after year."

Head brewer John Keeling, added: "The dedicated brewing team at Fuller’s are incredibly proud of all of the beers produced, and Red Fox is popular among the team.

"Red Fox was our first red ale and we’ve seen it go from strength to strength since it was launched 14 years ago."
