Halewood International is hoping to take it Josef Meiers liqueur range to a younger audience, with the launch of a lower ABV herbal schnapps.

The 22% ABV Stukaberg brand is aimed at 22 to 35-year-olds.

The company says the brand is inspired by the mountains of Bavaria and is made from a secret blend of herbs and spices. It is best served ice-cold and can be drunk neat or in cocktails.

James Wright, international sales and marketing controller, said: “Halewood International acquired the Josef Meiers range in 2012 and has since secured significant distribution for the brand amongst our wide customer base.

“The development of Stukaberg was built on consumer demand amongst a younger audience for a product which can be enjoyed in a variety of occasions, including at home with friends or during nights out.”
