Punch Taverns has launched a new legal advice line for licensees
A free 24/7 legal advice line has been set up by Punch Taverns for its licensees.

Launched this month, the licensees can now phone the advice line seven days a week to speak to qualified advisors on a range of issues such as HR, employment law, consumer law and more.

Punch will be trialling the advice line for six months through Compass Partnership. The line provides access to fully qualified lawyers with no limit on the number of calls and no time restriction to each call.

Punch also offers commercial advice and guidance on licensing and repairs through its risk department and provides online articles on the Punch Buying Club website.

Opportunities

John Healy, commercial director at Punch Taverns, said: "We plan to develop a number of initiatives to provide greater support for our partners and are continually reviewing opportunities to support this activity; the advice line is one of these."

Punch Taverns has also seen a 40 per cent increase in its licensees signing up to its Whisky Club. In its second year, the Whisky Club was launched in September and was open to all Punch Partners. The Whisky Club offers two malt whiskies every three from October to January.

Registered partners received a point of sale kit to help promote their ‘Malts of the Month’, including a back bar display and ‘whisky menu’.  In addition, they will also receive additional branded point of sale for specific brands, such as glassware.
