Tom Kerridge: writing regular column for The Sun
TV chef Tom Kerridge has launched a cookery column in the Sunday edition of The Sun.

The two-Michelin starred chef of Greene King tenancy the Hand & Flowers in Marlow, Buckinghamshire wrote his first instalment on warming winter soups taken from his new recipe book Tom Kerridge’s Proper Pub Food. The book is by the same title as his show with BBC2.

The chosen recipes are for celariac and Bramley apple soup; turnip and horseradish soup with crispy beef; and chicken and sweetcorn soup.

"Tom saw this as an opportunity to showcase great British pubs in a good light in one of the country’s foremost and widely read newspapers," said a spokesperson for the Hand & Flowers.

"The dishes that are being constructed and printed are from the book so they are based on home cooking but have a huge amount of soul and influence on the style of food that we do at the Hand & Flowers which in turn is based on the ethos that all great British pub should stand by, tasty, flavoursome, and value for money."
