Crown Carveries adds traditional pub dishes to carvery
Customers of the Mitchells & Butlers brand can now enjoy pub classics from £3.79 such as pies, hand-battered fish and chips and sausages. Each comes with unlimited sides including mushy peas, baked beans, steamed vegetables, a selection of sauces and even curries.
The pub classics can be picked up from the carvery deck with customers adding extras as they wish in a nod to the trendy customisation of dishes. The offer is available in all Crown Carveries of which there are more than 100 around the country.
"Pub classics are popular with our guests and we want to continue to deliver great value to our guests," said a spokesman.
Roast dinners
The traditional carvery still offers great value with roast pork, turkey and gammon available Monday to Wednesday and beef, turkey and gammon from Thursday to Saturday for £4.19.
Guests can go ‘kingsize’ for £1.50 extra, which adds more meat, a pork suasage and two Yorkshire puddings to any meal. Those who opt for a carvery can also add unlimited chips, vegetables, baked beans and sauces to their meals with bottomless ice cream for £1.50 to follow.
