High-profile chef James Tanner and brother Chris will open a pub restaurant later this spring near Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

The Tanners, who already run the Tanners restaurant in Plymouth, Devon will open the Kentish Hare in Bidborough this May.

Other plans include opening a series of food outlets, including a farm shop, street food hut, and a takeaway fish and chip shop in Looe, Cornwall.

Fish and chip shop, the Catch, will open in the summer in the same building as the farm shop and butchery, which will be known as Quayside Fresh, and will open next month.

James Tanner is well-known for cooking on the TV show Ready Steady Cook and has had guest appearances on Saturday Kitchen.
