Bavarian Beerhouse is in talks with franchisees
Bavarian Beerhouse, the London-based group specialising in German-style bierkellers, is looking to expand its network of franchised beerhouses with new openings across the UK.

The company is currently focusing on Scotland, with the first franchise lined up for an Aberdeen opening, followed by Edinburgh, M&C Report has learned. The group is also in talks with franchisees in Manchester and Birmingham.

There are currently two Bavarian Beerhouses in London, and one in Bristol, which was the company’s first franchise site.

Franchisees invest a minimum of £75,000 to cover premises improvement, opening stock, equipment and launch costs. An upfront franchise fee of £25,000 is also required, which covers a five-year licence to run a Bavarian Beerhouse and a five-year extension dependent upon performance.

Monthly management fees come in at 5% of revenue, and there is also a marketing fee of 1.5% of monthly sales.
