Whitbread’s Brewers Fayre is partnering with childrens’ comic The Beano on themed menus and activities for younger diners.

The pub restaurant brand’s partnership with DC Thomson Consumer Products will see Beano​ inspired dishes featured on the kids’ menu and The Beano kids’ activity packs across 150 Brewer’s Fayre sites.

New dishes include Gn-achos and salsa; spaghetti Beano-ese; Big Bad Hot Dog; Minnie doughnuts and Cookie Double Dare.

As part of the wider partnership, Brewers Fayre will also run a dedicated Father’s Day weekend promotion. On 15 June dads dining at the chain will be gifted a free, limited edition The Beano​ comic which features a special Father’s Day story.

Additional seasonal activities will include The Beano​ branded Christmas and children’s parties themed with much-loved characters including Dennis the Menace​, Gnasher​ and Minnie the Minx​.

Brewers Fayre will supply families with party organiser kits that include invites and thank you cards, kids meals, cakes, party bags and play facilities available at its sites. Additionally, staff hosting parties will also wear The Beano​ branded t-shirts.

We are a restaurant with strong family values and so the partnership is a natural fit."
