The owners of the Fish Club restaurant in London are opening their first pub this September.

Owners Steve Orme, James Thomson and Jack Sutton are taking on the Star Pubs & Bars lease at the Red Lion in Shepperton, Middlesex.

The pub will focus on food with a seasonal menu featuring both meat and fish and the new dining room will have a capacity of 50.

All the food will be made fresh on site and the menu will feature around six starters, seven mains and four desserts as well as selection of traditional bar snacks such as scotch eggs and sausage rolls.

The weekend menu will feature a Saturday brunch which will include eggs benedict and a full English breakfast and a roast will be served on Sunday.

The Red lion is set to undergo a £500,000 refurbishment that will include a new dining room, larger bar area and a new roof.

Construction of a river garden with its own bar and kitchen area will begin next spring.
