St Bart's Brewery will source all meat from Smithfield Market
A newly opened London pub will be serving customers meat sourced straight from nearby Smithfield Market.

The newest edition from the Cunning Plan Pub Company, St Bart’s Brewery in Farringdon, central London, will offer a menu of British classics in its 120 cover restaurant.

The pub will serve breakfast lunch and dinner with an emphasis towards locally sourced produce from the largest wholesale meat market in the UK for a variety led experience.

The grill menu serves a range of burgers such as lamb, mango chutney, lettuce, onion bhaji, cheese, raita and fries (£13.96) and a Smithfield beef and bacon burger with tomato, lettuce, cheese, relish and fries (£13.95).

A 500g Aberdeen sirloin steak also features and comes served on the bone with roast tomatoes and chips (£26.50).

Other dishes include roast king scallops with cauliflower puree and caramelized pineapple (£8) and smoked haddock bubble ‘n’ squeak with a poached egg and mustard source (£14).

Three sharing platters are also available including a meat board with cured Yorkshire ham, salami, mini Scotch eggs with curried mayonnaise and home-made sausage rolls (£14.50).

St Bart’s Brewery also serves freshly brewed Meantime Lager from two copper finished tanks as well as up to 30 British craft beers, ciders and wines.
