Sky Sports’ Formula 1 broadcaster Natalie Pinkham will host this year’s Great British Pub Awards, organised by the Publican’s Morning Advertiser.

A self-confessed adrenaline junkie and political activist, Pinkham combines her love of sports with charity campaigning and supporting grass-roots initiatives whilst also finding time writing on health and travel, presenting, and reporting on F1.

The awards night takes place on 11 September at London’s Hilton Hotel on Park Lane, where the winners of 17 categories will be revealed and the Sky Great British Pub of the Year will be crowned.

Other entertainment on the night includes an interactive pub quiz hosted by specialists Redtooth where guests will have the chance to pit their wits against The Beast – Mark Labbett.

Redtooth said: “We’re really glad to be on board again with this year’s Great British Pub Awards and excited to be bringing along Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett from ITV’s The Chase. Can anyone beat the Beast in our interactive quiz during dinner? Let’s wait and see.”

Guests will also enjoy a Champagne reception courtesy of Pernod Ricard brand Mumm.

Celebration

PMA group editor Rob Willock said: “We’re delighted to welcome Natalie Pinkham as this year’s awards host for what’s sure to be a great night celebrating the best the pub trade has to offer.

“Our guests on the night will also enjoy a range of different entertainment from quizzes to stand-up comedy and a few surprises, as well as a range of drinks from our bar partners. It’s going to be the biggest party night in the industry.”
