Pizza and cider concept, the Stable, has opened its seventh site.

The new bar in Falmouth, Cornwall, overlooks Falmouth harbour and was the old custom house which has sat derelict since 2012.

The Stable, which Fullers acquired a 50% stake in earlier this year, began life in 2009 serving sourdough pizzas and over 80 varieties of cider.

The business offers a cider tasting board which helps customers discover their preferred “tipple” based on five 1/3 pints.

The food focuses on sourdough pizzas which include: the lamb roast which features marinated Cornish lamb, mint, Cornish fiesta goats’ cheese, thyme roasted sweet potato, roast onions, tomato and mozzarella (£10.50), the buccaneer which includes Jackson‘s smoked mackerel, smoked salmon, English spinach, tomato and mozzarella topped with fresh parsley and lemon (£11) and the billy the kid featuring Cornish Fiesta goats’ cheese, caramelised onions, field mushrooms, fresh spinach leaves, tomato and mozzarella topped with roasted hazelnuts.
