Greenall's launches Wild Berry and Sloe gins
The first new gins in 250 years are set to join the Greenall’s portfolio.

A wild berry flavoured gin and a sloe gin will join the range from this month, chosen to appeal to a new generation of gin lovers, said owner Quintessential Brands.

“We are extremely proud of our best-selling gin, which is the number two standard gin in the UK,” said international brand development manager, Sinead O’Frighil.

“We are delighted that after 250 years we have introduced two new additions to the Greenall family.”

Greenall’s Wild Berry is made by infusing blackberries and raspberries in gin. The 37.5% ABV spirit is described as having luscious berry notes, balanced with juniper and warming spice. Cocktail suggestions include Wild About You, a concoction of Wild Berry Gin, vanilla syrup & lemon juice with muddled raspberries & blackberries.

Greenall’s Sloe Gin is a 26% ABV blend of gin and sloe berries, which is described as having, “gentle juniper and spicy flavours.” It is best served either topped-up with sparkling wine, neat, with tonic as a winter twist on the g&t, or in a hot toddy (sloe gin, gin, vanilla syrup & pomegranate juice, warmed & served with a cinnamon stick).

Greenall’s was first launched into the on-trade back in 2011, as part of a drive to mark the 250th anniversary of the brand, which also saw the brand get a new look.

It is distilled by G&J Distillers, based in Warrington, England's oldest continuous gin distilling company.
