Kick Energy becomes Kick Start
Energy drinks Kick Energy is being renamed Kick Start as part of a rebrand of the range.

Owner Global Brands is also investing in a new marketing campaign for the drink, which includes a sponsorship deal with the Ginetta Junior Championship, a motorsport series for young, emerging drivers, and a tie up with computer games such as Batman and Tomb Raider

“Evolving Kick Energy to Kick Start is just the start of our development plan for the brand,” said marketing director, Simon Green.

“In addition to Kick Start Original we have been exploring new product development, including one which could add more value to the category by engaging with consumers who don’t currently purchase energy drinks.”

In the on-trade Pos kits will be distributed to pubs and bars to promote the revamp, alongside a menu of new serving ideas to help boost sales.
