The British Institute of Innkeping (BII) is launching a series of roadshow events to help licensees develop their businesses.

Starting next month, the new ’50 4 50’ events, for both member and non-member publicans, will highlight innovation and offer practical advice to support established and fledgling businesses.

They will cover a variety of topics including: how to grow your footfall; what you should be doing online to promote your business; and 10 things every top licensee should be doing.

There will also be a range of practical tips from industry speakers, including former Licensee of the Year award winners, and attendees will have the opportunity to ‘speed network’ directly with the speakers to discuss their personal businesses challenges and ideas.

BII chief executives Tim Hulme said: “I am delighted to be able to respond to requests from our members to bring the benefits of the BII and its representatives to a number of highly accessible locations across the country.

“The notion of the ’50 4 50” event is that every attendee will take away ten ideas from each of the five presenters, representing excellent value receiving 50 ideas for only £50.”

The roadshows will begin on the 22 January in Exeter with further events scheduled throughout the first six months of 2015. Tickets can be purchased here.
