Enterprise Inns has revamped its website in a bid to boost recruitment among potential publicans.

The first stage of the website overhaul introduces 360-degree photographic tours of featured pubs as well as the facility to compare up to four pubs alongside the one being viewed.

The new-look website also includes videos from existing publicans talking about their experience of running a pub with Enterprise as well as staff highlighting the step-by-step recruitment process.

The home page has a carousel showcasing 36 feature pubs and a ‘click through’ to the Pub Business Opportunities page.

The pub search facility enables visitors to compare features of their chosen pub with up to four alternative sites. Pubs are matched by location but also by similar attributes, such as food offers or live music venues.

Improvements

James Armitage, head of marketing at Enterprise, said:  “We know that the vast majority of people visiting the site do so to research pub business opportunities, which is why we have focused our efforts on improving the navigation features and providing more relevant information and even more help and support to enable people to find the right pub.

“The featured pubs have floor plans with either a 360 degree photographic tour or video ‘hand held’ tour and we are also providing at a glance key facts and demographic reports which are easy to read and understand.”

Enterprise said next year will see the second phase of the website’s development with the creation of the applicant dashboard. After logging in to their individual home page, visitors will be able to review the pubs they have searched, track the progress of their application and monitor individual training requirements.
