Bar Holdings Ltd, the owner of the multi-award-winning Sports Bar & Grill restaurant group, has announced that all four of its restaurants with historical comparisons achieved record sales in 2014.

Managing director David Evans said that the sites’ contributions led to record annual group sales in 2014. “Management accounts show net sales for Farringdon of £1.4m, Victoria of £1.6m, Marylebone of £1.8m and the mightily impressive Waterloo at a whopping £2.1m – a 17.4% increase on 2013.”

Evans added: “Marylebone delivered a record sales figure in November 2014  - its 72nd month of trading; and Waterloo broke the £200k sales barrier in both November and December 2014.” The company’s newest Sports Bar & Grill site at Piccadilly Circus also enjoyed its busiest month in December.

Highlights

Evans said: “All bodes well for a very exciting 2015 with the Cricket World Cup, The Ashes, the Rugby World Cup and the Women’s football World Cup the highlights of a halcyon sporting year ahead. It proves that as a brand Sports Bar & Grill has grown and matured as the ‘go to’ restaurant and bar to eat, drink and watch sport.”

Sports Bar & Grill’s sixth site is due to open in Canary Wharf’s Crossrail development on 1 May. The largest in the estate to date, it will feature three bars, an open kitchen, private dining facilities and a smoking balcony – and capacity for more than 1,000 customers.
