In under one week the Publican Awards, in association with Sky, will take place at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on Monday, 16 March, presented by comedian and television personality David Walliams.

Around 1,300 people will attend the prestigious black-tie event which will see the presentation of 19 awards recognising the achievements of pub companies in the past year.

The event features a Champagne reception, three-course meal, live entertainment and an exciting after party featuring a variety of bars.

New for this year is the award’s Sky Glamcam, which will celebrate all the fantastic outfits seen at this glittering event. Attendees will be tweeting pics to #skyglamcam during the award’s event, which this year will also feature a twitter wall. The Best Tweeter at the Publican Awards ceremony will win a pair of Premier League tickets to watch a team of their choice, courtesy of the award’s headline partner Sky.

Two Sky Glamcam Awards will be announced on @morningad the day after the awards (Tuesday, 17 March) and a gallery of the best outfits featured on the Publican’s Morning Advertiser website. The winner of the Best Dressed Lady Award will win full hospitality for 10 people in Sky’s box at Ascot Racecourse and the Best Dressed Chap will win a Supercar Challenge Driving day at Silverstone, also courtesy of Sky.

This is the 24th year of the Publican Awards. Last year’s awards ceremony was shortlisted for ‘Awards Event of the Year’ in the PPA Connect Awards.

Rob Willock, editor of the Publican’s Morning Advertiser, said:  “I have to say that the Publican Awards 2015 has easily been the most buoyant, positive and exciting event of my tenure as editor of the Publican’s Morning Advertiser. I am pleased to report that, after surviving an unprecedentedly tough few years, the pub industry has finally, fully relocated its mojo, and is back with a vengeance – delivering some stunning business results. And the Publican Awards will reward the best of these.”
