A creative twist on raising money for Comic Relief has been undertaken by CPL Online, with the firm offering digitally sketched 'selfies' for donations to the charity.

The training company's animation team, who are responsible for 2D and 3D animation on CPL e-learning courses, will deliver a digital selfie - similar to the one above of PMA editor Rob Willock - in return for a donation to Comic Relief.

In order to take part in the competition, make a donation to the sponsor page on the Red Nose Day website, and submit your chosen selfie to sketchup@cpltraining.co.uk. A winning submission will be created and posted online tomorrow.

Caricatures of well-known Comic Relief supporters including Dermot O’Leary, Lenny Henry and Davina McCall can be found on CPL Online’s Facebook page alongside figures from the company.

CPL head of animation Nikki Anderson said: “So many of our clients run pubs and are full of great ideas about how they can raise money for Comic Relief. We thought we want to get in on the action and have some fun too.

"So the challenge is on, if you think you’re brave enough or simply want to help us raise some money and are willing to make your face look funny please send us your photo. We’ll be posting them online via our Facebook and Twitter every day so be sure to get your daily dose of laughter.”

Follow these steps:

  • Donate £1 (or as much as you like) via http://my.rednoseday.com/sponsor/sketchup
  • Send your selfie to sketchup@cpltraining.co.uk or Tweet it to @cplelearning or message via the CPLELearning Facebook
  • Patiently wait to see if your selfie has been chosen to be Sketched up
