New products: beetroot ketchup and vegetarian sausages

Billed as a healthy alternative to tomato ketchup with containing no allergens, artificial colouring, flavourings or sweeteners, each 225g bottle contains one and a half whole beetroots.

Frankie Fox, co-founder of the Foraging Fox, said: “We are looking forward to converting more buyers and consumers to the power of beetroot at events such as the Farm Shop & Deli Show.

“The next stage is equally exciting as we start to see our bottles of ketchup on the shelves – we’re convinced that those who try it will never look back.”

Vegetarian range​

Goodlife has introduced a new range of meat-free frozen sausages to the foodservice market.

The range features two new products, a tomato, red pepper and mozzarella sausage and a cauliflower cheese variant, aimed at providing a flexible portion size for mealtimes and making vegetables more attractive to children.

The new sausages can be grilled, baked or fried and retail in single flavour boxes of 30x50g sausages.
