Finalists have been announced for the BBC’s Food & Farming Awards 2015.

The awards are aimed at celebrating the best of British food as well as companies and individuals who grow, make and supply it. 

Competing in the Best Drinks Producer category are Dunkertons Cider, London ginger beer merchants Square Root and Warner Edwards Gin.

Up for the title of Best Food Producer are E5 Bakehouse, an independent London bakery, Northumberland cheese producer Doddington Dairy and Edinburgh-based Mara Seaweed.

Street food finalists

Contestants in the Best Street Food category include the Hang Fir Smokehouse in Cardiff, London-based kidney and kedgeree specialists What the Dickens! and Bertha’s Sourdough Pizza, from Bristol.

Winners will be announced in a special edition of BBC Radio 4’s Food Programme in May.
