Scottish brewer and bar operator BrewDog is launching its fourth round of fundraising to raise £25m by issuing 526,316 New B shares for the next 12 months

The money raised will be used to fund the expansion of the brewery at Ellon, housing a brand new 300HL brewhouse to operate in tandem with the existing 100HL facility.

The enlarged site would allow the company to create sour beer facility to extend the range of beers it produces.

BrewDog is planning to commit £7m of the projected investment in opening new UK bars including Dalston and Islington in London, which will be the next sites to open.

It plans to establish a small US brewing operation following the success of its TV show in the States. The company said it wants to continue growing its business in the world’s biggest craft beer market.

As well as the US, BrewDog will dedicate £1m establishing a UK import and distribution arm.

Furthermore the company would invest £2m in environmental technologies including a biomass generator and fuel cell technologies.

In its production site, the company is planning to invest in a craft distillery, ice-distilled beer and developing its Abstrakt beer range to create more ‘ambitious, bizarre and progressive beers.” It is also planning to extend its range of beers in cans with a dedicated canning line for its Dead Pony Pale Ale, Punk IPA, This. Is. Lager and Jack Hammer lines.

Finally there are plans to establish a craft-beer led hotel in the north east of Scotland to offer accommodation for passionate craft beer drinkers who visit the brewery at Ellon.

The company has lined up further opening for 2015 including Berlin, Norwich, Angel, Southampton, Brighton and a second site in Leeds.
