Fuller’s has announced that Fred Turner will be its new Head of Operations – Tenanted Division.

Turner, who is currently an operations manager within the Fuller’s Inns managed house business, will report in to Fuller’s Inns managing director Jonathon Swaine.

He will start on 1 September with a two month hand over from current Tenanted Director, Mike Clist, who retires at the end of October. Responsibility for Clist’s public affairs work will be taken on by corporate affairs director, Richard Fuller.

The operational senior team at Fuller’s Inns now comprises Jonathon Swaine (managing director), Simon Dodd (operations director – Premium City), Jane Bravey (head of operations – Quality Division), Mark Fulton (head of operations – Hotels), Fred Turner (head of operations – Tenanted Division) and Paul Dickinson (head of food).

Simon Emeny, Fuller’s chief executive, said: “Jonathon has built a very strong and well-respected team around him. Developing our people has been a key focus in recent years and it’s particularly pleasing that four of Jonathon’s five direct operational reports have been internal promotions.”

Swaine said: “I’m delighted to see Fred progress in this way. It’s the latest in a number of internal promotions and we have already identified a number of stars for the future. Jane and Mark both started as trainee managers and it just goes to prove that a career at Fuller’s really can take you all the way from bar staff to board room.”
