AB Inbev has launched Stella Artois Cidre Raspberry, Stella Artois Cidre Peach and Stella Artois Cidre Elderflower into "sleek" 330ml cans exclusively to the on-trade.

The can launch of the fruit ciders, follow the raspberry variant being introduced in 500ml bottles alongside 330ml bottles to both the on and off-trade last May and the peach and elderflower varieties being rolled out in February 2015.

According to the company, the new format is “lighter, tougher and chills faster than bottles,” will offer a “higher PPL versus larger bottle formats” and is “exceptionally efficient with fridge space.”

The variants are all “crafted with handpicked fruits and are best served in a chalice over ice,” said Phil Pick, marketing manager for Stella Artois.
