Time to get your diary out - a number of key events for multiple site operators will take place through October and November. 

Friday 23 October - ALMR Race Day at Newbury

Join the ALMR and hear from industry experts about business rates revaluation, statutory code and MRO, before enjoying an afternoon of flat racing. Tickets include entry to the races,drinks reception and a four course meal.

Tuesday 24 November – Festival of Food & Flavour Study Tour, City of London, Friday 24 November. 

Half day conference with presentations on food trends, investment and regulation, followed by study tour led by Elliotts PR. Ticket price £149

10th November-Tenanted Pub Company Summit

Under the theme MRO: Meltdown or Real Opportunity, this must-attend event examines the opportunities and the challenges ahead as well as introducing you to the best operators you've never heard of..... yet. Speakers include:

  • Keynote speaker: Kevin Georgel, chief executive of Admiral Taverns, ​shares this views on the tied model, his experiences of the Government review into the sector and his hopes for the future
  • Allan Lockhart, property director at NewRiver Retail, ​on their plans to develop and expand their tenanted pub portfolio after the recent high-profile acquisition of 158 Punch pubs in addition to the 202 Marstons sites bought in 2013
  • Paul Pavli, operations director at Punch Taverns,​ Publican Award Winner 2015, on Punch being ‘back off the ropes' and how the company is working with its partners to help them deliver a better consumer offer
  • Chris Jowsey, trading director at Star Pubs and Bars,​ Publican Award Winner 2015, on why Star is committed to the longer lease and how this will benefit pub cos and tenants
