Although the Star Inn lost its Michelin star in 2011, it regained it after tireless work in 2014.
Pern said: "We've got a brilliant pantry of food so it made sense to come here. We wanted to be somewhere individual.
"If you think of the French and their cuisine terroir, the great pantry of food we have here is the envy of the country. Some of the best chefs in London are supplied by our local."
