With the Premier League now past the half-way stage, Darren Fletcher, BT Sport commentator and host of football show Fletch & Sav, gives his half-term report on all the teams.

Arsenal
Can they see the job out? They must show more steel than before as there with tough away fixtures against the top teams.

Leicester City
Everything from now is a bonus because they have achieved more than anyone would have ever imagined. I hope they can kick on and finish the season strongly.

Manchester City
The title is theirs to win. They need to show more consistency but they do have an easier run-in than the teams around them and have a stronger squad.

Tottenham Hotspur
This is Spurs’ best opportunity to win the title in decades. They have to keep Harry Kane fit and turn some draws into wins, but they can push really hard.

West Ham
They’ve done well and have match-winners in their team and injured players returning. The signs are good for them and a European place is within their grasp.

Manchester United
Have been very disappointing considering the amount of money spent. They need to play with more imagination and freedom to secure a top four place.

Stoke City
A little bit frustrating because they are full of talent and ability. They need to find more consistency after dropping points unexpectedly in some games.

Crystal Palace
Palace need to more ruthless in front of goal in order to progress. They are strong and solid defensively, play with pace and width, but need more goals.

Liverpool
Still very much a work in progress and we will continue to see ups and downs under Jürgen Klopp. He needs time to implement his own style and bring in the right players.

Watford
They’ve certainly done well, and strikers Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo have a partnership as good as any in the league. The question is can they keep it up?

Everton
It’s simple — they have to defend better. Their game management lets them down with players taking too many risks. But there is so much potential there.

Southampton
Need to hang on to key players during the transfer window in order to move up the table. They over-achieved last season so are probably finding their level.

West Brom
They remain a solid mid-table, hard-to-beat team that churns out results and do what they are good at. They have a very effective plan and stick to it.

Chelsea
There are some positive signs. Top players are returning to form — apart from Eden Hazard — and I think they will finish in the top seven.

Norwich City
It’s all about staying up and finding a striker that can score goals regularly. Results have been better recently so they have a good shot.

Bournemouth
I really want them to stay up because they have been fantastic. They’ve lost key players but continue to impress and deserve to avoid the drop.

Swansea
Lost their way in the first half of the season under previous manager Garry Monk but should have enough quality in the squad to survive.

Sunderland
Have big problems because they are shipping too many goals. Manager Sam Allardyce’s track record tells you that he will keep them up but, at the moment, I can’t see it.

Newcastle
I don’t know what sort of team they are. Should be comfortably mid-table but will be involved in a relegation dogfight, which is unacceptable given the money spent.

Aston Villa
They’ve gone. Players are making mistakes all over the pitch and they have a manager with no experience of a relegation battle. Possibly the worst team in Premier League history.
