Four training courses from hospitality training provider, CPL Online, have been accredited by an independent training standards group.

The CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Standards Office has given accreditation to four courses, bringing CPL Online's total number of courses accredited by the group to seven.

The courses accredited on this occasion include the award for licensed premises staff, as well as allergen awareness, manual handling and first aid. They join the health and safety, food safety and fire awareness courses that were accredited in May of this year.

The CPD Standards Office look to improve training quality by giving accreditation to courses that maximise staff potential and improve staff morale.

The now accredited award for licensed premises staff focuses on the need-to-know of licensing law, including which licences are required to sell alcohol, which activities are licensable and what the licensing objectives are.

Responding to the news, managing director of CPL Online, David Dasher said: "The second accreditation is a testament to the ongoing hard work by the e-learning team – always striving to deliver the highest-quality courses that help individuals kick on and progress their career."
