Pep Guardiola's first encounter with Jose Mourinho in the Premier League, plus the first top-flight Old Firm derby in four years dominate the weekend's sport.

Football: Celtic v Rangers (Saturday, 12noon) - Sky Sports 2

After four years apart, Rangers and Celtic finally find themselves reunited in the Scottish Premiership. The result is the return of the always fiercely competitive Old Firm derby kicking off the weekend's action.

Football: Manchester United v Manchester City (Saturday 12.30pm) - Sky Sports 1

Multiple viewing cards at the ready. As soon as customers have settled down for the Old Firm derby, the Manchester derby adds to the early-afternoon drama. Manchester derbies are never short of excitement and this one has the added spice that comes with Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola renewing their rivalry from their time managing in Spain. With two matches of such appeal on at the same time, a plan needs to be made in advance for which screens will be showing which matches so customers can be directed in the right direction when they hit the pub and don't need to be moved while the football is on. 

Football: Liverpool v Leicester (Saturday, 5.30pm) - BT Sport 1

Two sides that - so far this season - have entertained with their unpredictability see us into Saturday evening. 38% of customers that come in for live sport stay after the match and many customers will see this as the perfect way to kick off their Saturday night.

Boxing: Kell Brook v Gennady Golovkin (Saturday, 10pm) - Sky Sports Box Office

Sheffield's Kell Brook is aiming to become the first welterweight to secure a middleweight world title in 50 years when he takes on Kazakh Gennady Golovkin. Golovkin is unbeaten in 35 professional fights and is hot favourite against the Brit. As a result, a win for Brook would go down as one of the all-time great wins for British boxing and fans of the sport will be making this fight the central focus of their Saturday night.

American Football: NFL triple-header (Sunday, 6pm) - Sky Sports 2

Fans of NFL will be settling in for an American-sized portion of the sport on Sunday evening. This weekend marks the beginning of the new season and, after six months away, enthusiasts will be looking to reacquaint themselves through this triple-header. The games featured are Green Bay @ Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots @ Arizona Cardinals.
