Molson Coors’ wholesale and delivery arm will help a select group of lucky customers capitalise further on the 10% Christmas sales hike by offering free festive makeovers.

The newly announced promotion will give Molson Coors customers a chance to win a free makeover for their outlet in advance of the busiest time of the year.

Operators can see sales rise by more than 10%, according to CGA Strategy, during the Christmas period, and could further capitalise on the uptick by having their pubs turned into a winter wonderland.

Decorations for celebrations

The makeover is worth £2,500 and consists of decorations that will be provided and installed on behalf of Molson Coors.

Director of independent on-premise at Molson Coors Martyn Cozens said: “Christmas is a critical period for on-trade outlets with increased footfall and consumers looking to spend that little bit extra behind the bar.

“However, the landscape is competitive, and outlets, whether they are pubs, bars, hotels or casual-dining outlets, must do all they can to attract consumers.

“Christmas decorations are a great way of maximising this key occasion, making an outlet look appealing for consumers.”

Expense fears

He continued: “But, the cost of decorating is often much more than an outlet can bare. That’s why we’ve chosen to run this competition; to support our customers, add value to their businesses, helping them to capitalise on this crucial festive period."

To enter the competition, customers must buy at least five free stock items before the end of next month from Molson Coors’ Christmas Hotlines brochure.

Customers who buy the deals will be entered into a prize draw and could be one of 10 outlets announced as the winners of the Christmas makeover.
