A Monday night clash between Liverpool and Manchester United is just one of the games that is likely to bring a rise in footfall during the coming months.

The new Premier League season hadn't even started when Sky Sports and BT Sport confirmed the matches they would each be showing in October and November. Now that everything is stewing along nicely and the narratives have been set for this season, it's time to have a look at the games that are most likely to be attracting people to the pub over the next few months.

Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester City (2 October, 2.15pm) - Sky Sports

The only two remaining undefeated sides so far in the league this season. Can Manchester City make it seven wins from seven or can Tottenham talk up their title chances?

Crystal Palace v West Ham (15 October, 5.30pm) - BT Sport

A London derby between two sides that are always up for the occasion. The Hammers have faltered so far this season, while Palace have looked impressive, but no matter what form the two sides are in, this is likely to be a closely fought derby played out in front of a raucous atmosphere.

Liverpool v Manchester United (17 October, 8pm) - Sky Sports

One of football's fiercest rivalries will be played out on a Monday night for the first time. United's 20 league titles may dwarf Liverpool's 18, but this is a game where history goes out of the window and both sides look to score a morale-boosting win over their rivals.

Arsenal v Tottenham Hotspur (6 November, 12noon) - BT Sport

Speaking of classic rivalries, it is hard to recall a dull North London derby. Arsenal pipped Tottenham to second place in the league last season to finish above their rivals for a 20th consecutive season and both sides will be looking for an early upper hand over the other in this match.

Manchester United v Arsenal (19 November, 12.30pm) - Sky Sports

Martin Keown might not be screaming in Ruud van Nistelrooy's face any more. But there is still no love lost between the two managers of these sides, José Mourinho and Arsène Wenger, both of whom will be desperate to triumph over the other.
