Its extensive schedule of national and international sport goes way beyond the normal footfall drivers for pubs and caters to its customers’ needs, no matter how obscure they might be.

European handball fanatics and American football addicts can each follow their favourite team, and it doesn’t matter if those matches are on at the same time – four different ‘zones’ allow for simultaneous broadcasting across two floors on thepub’s 20 screens.

The eclectic mix of staff nationalities also helps bring in new customers, as they recommend the bar socially to families and friends and often visit on their day off. Alongside this, the venue is also set up for corporate events with many local businesses choosing the pub for team days and presentations. Good relationships with sports teams, for example when the NFL teams visit London to play matches at Wembley give the venue additional publicity.

As you would expect of its central location, the pub has an extensive menu featuring pubclassics aimed at the tourist trade, alongside gourmet burgers and hot dogs. Themed nights offer food and drink deals and a recent ‘hot dog giveaway’ aimed at regular customers has heavily pushed its BeerDog range. A new Sunday Roast menu has just been launched, and early opening captures the breakfast trade.

Drinks feature a wide selection of draught and bottled beer that you would expect to find in a sports bar, but also include American-style ice cream shakes and numerous wines by the glass.
