On the subject of awards, our glittering Great British Pub Awards ceremony is this Wednesday (5 October) and the Best Cider, Entertainment, Inn, Managed Partnership and Sport bar/pub finalists are all featured in the latest issue.

Last month’s MA500 event took place in Leeds​ and covered a whole range of issues and developments in the trade with experts in employment, social media and top operators discussing trends and challenges with delegates and not forgetting, pubs code adjudicator, Paul Newby .
