Ahead of the Publican Awards, which will be taking place in March at Battersea Evolution, London, The Morning Advertiser takes a look at those competing for Best Late Night Operator.

The Deltic Group

The operator behind Oceana, Liquid and Pryzm will be hoping to walk away with the Best Late Night Operator award at a second consecutive Publican Awards. The 42-strong operator behind the likes of Balls Brothers and Tiger Tiger has been shortlisted for its responsible approach to late-night operations. 2016 has seen two Balls Brothers sites gain accreditation from the City of London's Safety Thirst scheme that aims to reduce antisocial behaviour in the square mile.

Red Door

This north-west-based brand from Living Ventures has been shortlisted for a Publican Award for the first time. The operator, which has sites in Liverpool, Manchester and Chester, impressed judges with its customer loyalty card scheme and rapid rise to three sites in just two years.

Stonegate Pub Company

The operator behind Yates and Slug & Lettuce is a finalist in the Best Late Night Operator category for the second year in a row. Stonegate has expanded substantially over the course of 2016 by acquiring both 10 JDW pubs and Intertain in the second half of the year.
