Mitchells & Butlers brand Toby Carvery has launched a Groupon deal offering a meal and a drink for two for under £15.

There are options for more than two guests including £29.90 for a carvery meal with a drink for four and £44.85 for a meal with a drink for six.

The discount on the site, which is valid from 16 May to 30 June from Monday to Saturday, shows as almost a third (28%) off the carvery’s standard prices.

Various sides available

Meals available include roast gammon with a pomegranate glaze; British roast turkey; roast British or Irish beef with a beef dripping glaze, and roast pork with an apple and sage glaze.

The dish will also include eight kinds of unlimited vegetables, stuffing, a choice of gravies and sauces, and a Yorkshire pudding.

Diners can enjoy a range of drinks such as a bottomless soft drink, a glass of wine, a pint of Carling or Stowford cider.

Veggie alternatives

Vegetarians can choose from dishs such as Portobello Mushroom Bullseye Tart, pepper and pomegranate tart; broccoli and brie parcel, or spiced carrot and chickpea Wellington.

A Toby Carvery spokesman outlined how launching the deal on the discount website helps bring value to its customers.

He said: “Toby Carvery has been the home of the roast for three decades. Groupon is just one of a number of new channels we are exploring to bring even greater value to new guests.”
