New World Trading Company (NWTC) will be opening its 15th Botanist bar in Nottingham this summer.

The West Bridgford Botanist, which will create 55 new jobs in the area, will complement the company’s other sites across the country, including bars in Alderley Edge, Newcastle, Chester, Leeds, Farnham, Birmingham, Manchester and Marlow.

NWTC operations director Matt Bamber said: “West Bridgford has a great community and a vibrant night life, which we are excited to be part of.”

Unique concept

NWTC’s latest addition to its portfolio will host live music with evening gigs every day, along with Sunday afternoon sessions, to create a “real home-from-home atmosphere”.

Bamber continued: “We think the food, cocktail and beer menus from our hanging kebab to the ale anthology with its 60 different beers will deliver a great dining and drinking experience for the residents.”

The Botanist is a “unique concept” inspired by all things botanical, with a selection of beers and ales, and its “extensive” menu which sees a variety of fresh fruit, herbs and spirits, “merged and muddled to create a number of unique delights”.
