The rebrand will see Edinburgh Gin’s four fruit gin liqueurs move into hand-blown glass bottles from Italy, bringing them in line with the rest of the distiller’s core range.
Edinburgh Gin’s fruit liqueurs portfolio consists of its Raspberry, Elderflower, Plum & Vanilla and Rhubarb & Ginger variants.
The fruit gin liqueurs are available for purchase directly through Edinburgh Gin or Ian Macleod Distillers distributors and the new designs are due to hit retailers’ shelves and bars in September of this year.
Ian Macleod Distillers commercial director Neil Boyd welcomed the new look.
"With our fruit gin liqueurs now sitting shoulder to shoulder with our London Dry-style gins, the sense of variety among the Edinburgh Gin portfolio is fully cemented,” he said.
Premium and versatile
"Over the past 12 to 18 months, we've seen the fruit gin liqueurs become a staple cocktail ingredient for those creating diverse and dynamic cocktails with Scottish gin at their heart. They are also equally as enjoyable when added to a glass of Prosecco.
“Premium and versatile, the fruit gin liqueurs are among our best-loved spirits and we have no doubt that the new designs will only increase their popularity further.”
Edinburgh gin was founded in 2010, and was acquired by Ian Macleod Distillers in 2016.
Last month, it was revealed that spirits accounted for more than half of all growth in on-trade alcoholic drinks sales in the past year.
The growth has been driven primarily by premium spirits, which are now worth £836m.
