Pubco launches door-to-door G&T service
The fully kitted-out mobile bar is available for customers to hire for weddings, festivals and a range of other events.
The Citroën HY van has been converted into a working bar with a variety of cocktails and world ales.
The Wanderer can travel the country and will arrive with NWTC’s bar experts, a range of unique spirits, craft beers and mixers.
Perfect fit
Cocktails will be its main appeal and those who hire it can create a unique menu from NWTC’s range, which also includes mocktails.
NWTC head of bars Nick Whitby revealed the demand for the business to provide events with their services was the inspiration behind the vehicle.
He said: “We get inundated with requests asking if we can provide our cocktails and drinks for their private celebrations.
“The Wanderer is perfect for this. The vehicle has been adapted to house a sleek bar but it also promises to deliver our highest standard of award-winning cocktails and drinkers, no matter where the celebration is, up and down the country.”
Expertly made cocktails
The Wanderer is sponsored by Plymouth Gin, and Pernod Ricard UK head of marketing Magin Trewhella outlined how the collaboration with the mobile bar ties in with the spirit’s history.
He said: “The Wanderer is a natural fit for the brand because, from its inception, the British Royal Navy consumed [Plymouth Gin] on the move.
“Plymouth’s gentle yet complex flavour profile has long been acknowledged by bartenders as an ideal gin for cocktails so it is fantastic to be merging the excitement of a new venture with the heritage of the historic brand.
“We can’t wait for more consumers to experience the super-premium gin in a variety of expertly made cocktails.”
