Punch's annual national tour will take in seven locations.

The first event kicked off in Chester earlier this week and the roadshows will finish on 3 October 2017.

The free roadshows give publicans the opportunity to meet with more than 140 suppliers from the food, drink and entertainment industries. Each event features stands from national brewers with the latest drinks initiatives that are designed to increase sales, cut costs and premiumise drink offerings.

Pubs are also given an exclusive voucher booklet that offers 34 deals and exclusive discounts from a variety of suppliers. Last year, the average pub saved a considerable £1,500 through on-the-day deals and support. This year’s voucher booklet sees the introduction of a prize draw per roadshow, giving licensees the chance to win £500 off their drinks order.

They is also a number of business-building seminars for including the ‘Perfect Spirit Serve’ presented by Diageo and ‘Maximising Sport’ by Carling. There will also be a seminar to help pubs use social media.

Pubs code adjudicator Paul Newby will also be attending the final three shows: London, Leeds and Coventry, and will be on hand to speak with publicans.

Edinburgh – Royal Highland Centre, Thursday 14 September, 10am to 3pm

Newcastle – International Centre for Life, Tuesday 19 September, 10am to 3pm

Bristol – Thornbury Leisure Centre, Thursday 21 September, 10am to 3pm

London – ExCel, Tuesday 26 September, 10am to 4pm

Leeds – Leeds United FC, Thursday 28 September, 10am to 3pm

Coventry – Ricoh Arena, Tuesday 3 October, 10am to 3pm
