Slug & Lettuce launches new menu with vegan dishes
The Stonegate-owned chain said it had expanded its offering to cater for the increasing demand for menu choices such as the Vegan Nachos to the Crispy Margherita Arancini and Falafel Bites.
Also new to the menu is The Breakfast Sharer, a combination of bacon sliders, omelette soldiers, honey-glazed pork sausages, barbecue beans, sautéed mushrooms, topped with avocado.
There are also alcoholic options for breakfast with its Make it Tipsy offer allowing consumers to add two drinks for £20 including Prosecco, Mimosa or a pint of Amstel.
There is also an option of a Brunch Time Tipple with a Cîroc Bloody Mary or Mimosa for just £3.45 each.
A new section on the menu called Sweet & Petite appeals to those with a sweet tooth. Customers can choose three items from £7, although prices depend on site location. Items on the menu include the Sticky Dicky Bites, Sour Cherry & Pistachio Bites and Mini Chocolate-Orange Fondants.
For those looking to relax, the Cocktails and Cakes offer – priced from £14 per person – gives customers the chance to treat themselves with a selection of sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, bite-sized desserts, and their choice of any cocktail.
The menu has also upgraded its Small Plates section, which offers five dishes starting from £16. The £7 burger and drink offer remains, with the addition of the premium Wagyu Burger and its special lunch deal which offers a range of mains, priced from £5.
Slug & Lettuce has also updated its drinks menu with the Chocolate Ben-o, which is a sweet mix of Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur, Licor 43 and Marie Brizard Cacao Blanco, topped with chocolate sprinkles. There is also the Cherry St Clements, a mix of Cointreau, Chambord, Black Raspberry Liqueur, Morello cherry purée, orange juice and lemonade. Gordon’s Pink Spritz is also now available.
“With each new menu, we work hard to ensure that all of customers will find something they enjoy eating and drinking. On top of that, we’re always looking at what our existing and potential customers would be looking for and ensuring we cater for their needs,” said Samantha Maynard, senior marketing manager for Slug & Lettuce.
“We have the additions of some fantastic vegan dishes available along with improved deals throughout the week and are confident that our offering will ensure our position as the go-to brand on the high street. “
