Pub groups the Alchemist and ETM Group were among the winners at Restaurant magazine’s R200 Awards, held yesterday (6 November) at Hawker House in Canada Water, south London.

Owned by Living Ventures, the Alchemist took home Best Restaurant Drinks Offer, sponsored by Daura Damm, while Food-Led Pub Company of the Year, sponsored by Fly Pay, was awarded to the ETM Group.

Northern-based Living Ventures group managing director Paul Moran was named Unsung Hero in an new award for this year.

The awards, announced yesterday (6 November), are based on votes from members of Restaurant ​magazine’s R200 club.

The club, founded in 2008, is an industry networking group of the top 200 multi-site restaurant operators in the UK.
