Young’s to open two new-build sites with Berkeley Homes
Young’s Brewery has strengthened its partnership with Berkeley Homes, with two new-build sites coming online this year The Morning Advertiser's sister title MCA understands.
The group is set to open the Naturalist, in the Woodberry Down development in Hackney in June/early July.
The Naturalist will be the only pub as part of the development, which will also feature a supermarket, gym, nursery and several cafes.
Meanwhile, the group is also opening a 4,700 sq ft site in the Kidbrooke development in Greenwich this summer. The company has yet to decide on a name for the concept.
It comes as the group re-launched the Smiths site in the City, which it acquired last November, this spring under the name The Candlemaker.
The new pub opened on Wednesday, with an all-day offer.
