Thames Valley Police have launched an appeal for information after incidents of grievous bodily harm and assault at the Jolly Sportsman pub in Chesham, Buckinghamshire.

The incidents took place at approximately 10pm on Saturday 18 August.

According to police reports, the offender punched a 55-year-old man at the bar, bruising his eye, before assaulting another man, aged 29, outside the pub – punching him to the ground and stamping on his head, fracturing his jaw.

Both victims received hospital treatment but have since been discharged, according to Thames Valley Police.

According to police, the offender, who was wearing a white T-shirt on the night the incidents occurred – is a white man in his 20s with scars on his face.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Kerry Bradfield of force criminal investigation department, said: “If you were at the pub or have any other information about the incidents please contact police as soon as possible.
