Contrary to its adverts of old, Guinness may not be good for your health – but for one day this week, it’s set to be good for Londoners’ wallets.

The famous Irish brewery is giving away nearly 10,000 pints of the black stuff in pubs this Thursday, 1 November.

The kings of stout is teaming up with Fuller’s Brewery for the giveaway, held in celebration of International Stout Day.

Staff will be handing out 50 pints of Guinness at each of Fuller’s 198 venues across the UK, which totals some 9,900 pints.

There’s no catch, just first come, first served.

All customers need to do is head to their nearest Fuller’s pub from 5pm, where the first 50 customers through the door will be greeted with a completely complimentary free pint of Guinness.

The giveaway marks the seventh annual International Stout Day, and with freebies like this, punters be counting down the days to it next year, too.
